I like to think that Shadow grew up with Maria on the Arc and she taught him many things, most likely the film will not do this but it was fun to draw anyways.❤️🖤🩵
My god this is applicable to so many situations: this is in no way a WE situation.
I love all this. So good. And I once saw a friend pull out the ONLY ACCEPTABLE PARENT LINE in a situation like this: “Are you hurt, or just scared?” IT WAS LIKE MAGIC. The kid paused, inhaled, looked down at the body part in question, then looked back up and said, all calm again, “Oh, just scared!” and back to business as usual.
Without a doubt, he is the biggest mommas boy among his brothers. Always by her side when he’s not with his bros. He was absolutely devastated when his duty to return the sacred tomes was foiled, and they were destroyed.
He would do anything for her, no questions asked!💕💕💕

One of my fav unintentionally angsty details from the Sonic movies is that they show the echidna tribe and they’ve got these masks that they’ve made and decorated with paint and feathers and they wear face paint and they’ve got clothes with embroidery and accessories in their dreads, even little Knuckles has gloves and shoes that look handmade and wears jewelry and face paint.
And then they show present-day Knuckles with none of that. His gloves don’t look handmade, his shoes definitely aren’t, and he’s got nothing else. Like I know they were matching him to his game canon design, but when you see the juxtaposition it really just gives the impression that Knuckles has nothing left of his people, not even a little beaded necklace.
My most self-indulgent movie Knuckles hc is that, guarding the ME on earth means he doesn’t have to be alone when guarding it! And no, I’m not talking about the Wachowski family, I’m talking about the species humans created to help us guard things: dogs.
Like just picture him with a lil pack of trained pooches. And they’re all working breeds/mixes of working breeds so they’ve got that same laser focus that working breeds get when you give them A Job To Do that matches his energy perfectly. And they are all named things like ‘Sentinal’, ‘Garrison’, or ‘Barricade’. His most trusted deputy is a chihuahua called ‘The Annihilator’.
